Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

At Grace Ridge Church, our vision is to make disciples for Jesus Christ in Wayne County and beyond. The Woodside Mission House assists us in carrying out this vision. We currently hold retreats, meetings, gatherings and classes here. We enjoy hosting groups from other churches who also have a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Teams use the Mission House as a base while working on various projects at homes throughout our county. There is a need in Wayne County for teams to not only make improvements and repairs to homes, but also to introduce families to the unconditional loving grace of our God.

All profits from our cafe to go help children. We support EduKenya, an organization that provides educational opportunities to children and families living in poverty in the Mathare slum of Nairobi, Kenya. Their vision is to see all children and their families in Mathare experience fullness of life through Christ-centered economic, social and spiritual transformation.

We also support the local children of Wayne Highlands School District by contributing to the weekend meal program for those in need.

Each year, we send several teams out on mission to various locations. Participants leave behind the routines and responsibilities (and sometimes phones!) of life to experience a week of daily devotions, worship, fellowship and service. This opportunity to refocus and deepen relationships is transformational, to say the least!

Trips are generally in the summer, but occasionally they happen in the fall or spring.
